November 2, 2023 Floral Fiesta: Día de Muertos
November 2, 2023 Floral Fiesta: Día de Muertos
This Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead), join us in honoring our ancestors by creating vibrant flower crowns! For 3,000 years Día de Muertos has been a beloved holiday in Mexico that celebrates the lives of those who have passed. We invite you to come learn the tradition, explore the artistry, and join us for a Floral Fiesta!
At our Día de Muertos Floral Fiesta, you’ll use plenty of locally sourced blooms from South Carolina for making your flower crowns. We’ll share traditional pan de muerto (bread of the dead) and refreshing aguas frescas (flavored waters) to enhance your experience.
Bring a picture of a loved one who is no longer with us to be included in our altar that night.
We can’t wait to celebrate the spirit of Día de Muertos with you. Let’s come together to remember and honor our departed ancestors with vibrant flower crowns!
