Our Values

This is what Preserving the Art of Growing Together means to us.
Growing is slow. It requires patience, attention, and a willingness to work with what the season gives you rather than against it. We believe that’s a better way to do almost everything, not just flowers.
When we say growing together, we mean it literally and figuratively. We grow specialty cut flowers on our Charleston, SC micro-farm. We grow relationships with our clients, our farm partners, and the communities we serve. And we grow a floral design practice that honors the land, the culture, and the craft.
Garden Grown & Domestically Sourced
Most cut flowers sold in the United States are imported, often traveling thousands of miles before they reach a vase and sprayed with harmful pesticides.
We grow specialty cut flowers on our own Charleston, SC micro-farm, including native and heirloom varieties chosen for their beautiful textures, colors, and seasonal character. When the season calls for more, we source from trusted farms and nurseries whose growing values align with ours.
This means our floral designs are guided by the seasons, not by a demand for year-round availability.
We believe local, seasonal flowers make better flowers and more meaningful arrangements.
Conscious Venues
Charleston has no shortage of breathtaking spaces. Beautiful venues. Hotels. Private gardens. Museums and galleries. Restaurants. Parks. Waterfront spaces.
We believe the spaces we celebrate in matter, and we choose not to participate in events held at plantations or venues with a history of injustice.
For us, thoughtful floral design extends beyond the flowers themselves. It's about where we work, who we work with, what we grow, and how we leave a place when the flowers are gone.
Intentional Mechanics
We never use floral foam. Floral foam isn't beneficial for the flowers, and most importantly it isn't safe for humans and animals. It isn't something we want in our studio or in the world around us.
Instead, every arrangement we create is built using intentional floral mechanics designed to hold each stem with care and release it cleanly when the moment is over.
For us, trying to be a sustainable florist isn't a trend. It's part of how we work.
