In this hands-on workshop, you'll have the opportunity to delve into the process of transforming natural elements into stunning works of wearable art and captivating floral designs. This workshop is for individuals who appreciate craftsmanship and are seeking unique experiences.

Local artist Daisy McClellan will guide you through the alchemy of botanical dyeing. Using local flowers, herbs, and even food scraps, you'll learn how to create unique silk scarves using the bundle dyeing technique. Daisy will share her expertise on non-toxic methods and the eco-friendly process of producing beautifully printed fabric. From preparing the fabric to caring for your finished accessory, you'll gain valuable insights into every step of the process. Discover the joy of wearing your creation as a hair accessory, neck scarf, purse embellishment, or even as eco-friendly gift wrap.

As our scarves undergo the steaming process, local flower farmer and floral artist Alicia Silva Flores will guide you on the principles of floral design. Drawing inspiration from locally grown flowers sourced from her farm and South Carolina flower farms, Alicia will demonstrate how to create a breathtaking floral arrangement. Learn the art of preserving floral design and the benefits of incorporating fresh blooms into your daily life.

This workshop offers a delightful blend of creativity, sustainability, and natural beauty. Lite bites will be provided. No experience is necessary.
